Summary[]
Taekyung slices his achilles, before equipping the dagger multiple times to stab him. Annoyed at falling for such a simple trick, he knocks Taekyung backs, before gathering all his qi for a final blow. Taekyung stabs him qith an equipped sword, to cause blockage and backflow of qi, i.e. qi deviation. Unable to accept such an outcome, Jopil burned up some of his life force to take him down with him. Taekyung resorts to consuming the secondary qi sphere to regain his strength.
In a flashback, we see how Taekyung broke a practice doll at the training facility, when the instructor of 15 years comments he has never seen something like this: An F rank executing an attack equivalent to a D rank. However, unless he improves his foundation, the instructor recommended him to not use that attack unless he's in mortal peril, since it would affect his health inadvertendtly.
This was just a moment like that, so Taekyung used his most powerful spear thrust to face Jopil.
