Protectors of the Third Gate are a part of the Five Gates of Shanxi.[1]
Background[]
They joined the faction to assist the Jin family in the war against the Mount Heng Sword Sect as a part of the Five Gates of Shanxi.[1]
They are a sect that was destroyed 30 years ago, so they're more like a group than a sect. They're known for taking in orphans in order to create martial warriors. They betrayed the main force of the Jin family and attacked the backup force, but were subdued by Taekyung and his men. That's when Kwak Joon reveals the group was created for the sole purpose of serving the head elder, and that their betrayal had been in the plans for 30 years.[2]
