The Mount Heng Sword Sect is one of the renowned families that inhibit the Shanxi province,[1] and are vying for the position of representatives of the province, currently held by the Jin Family of Taiyuan.[2]
Their main branch is located close to the Fogong Temple in Shanyin.[3]
Background[]
After Lee Seogeun was assassinated with a poison needle in his carriage on his way home,[1] his father officially declared war against the Jin Family.[?] Their sect leader, Lee Cheonbaek, and most of their martial masters perished at the Eight Spring Gorge. Meanwhile his first son was killed by mountain bandits a while back. After the death of all male heirs, the position of sect leader was given to the only surviving child, Lee Seowol.[1]
