To increase his sect's power in Shanxi, he set-up Taekyung[1] and accused him of having attempted to rape the young lady of their sect at another brothel named the Radiant Moon, before heading to Crimson Flower with Wolhwa. However, his evidence is spotty and so he challenges Taekyung to a duel, though he soon reveals it's just an excuse to make the Jin family withdraw control of Taiyuan. Either that, a duel or war.[2]
After being defeated by Jin Taekyung and on his way back to Mount Heng, he was ambushed and killed by the Dark Heaven, acting under the orders of the Blood Lord. Their intent was to frame the Jin family for his death, igniting a conflict between the two forces and plunging them into war.
