Joon took the opportunity to greet Taekyung on the streets, who belatedly realized he was a member of the Five Gates of Shanxi. They shook hands, and Joon invited him to tea, but Taekyung had to decline since he was already heading to the infirmary to check on his injured companions.[2] Later, Joon striked a conversation with Taekyung while the army was marching, however Taekyung had forgotten who he was.[1]
He disguised himself as a second rate warrior, but he is actually a first rate warrior at Lv. 40. Using this fact, he and his men attacked Taekyung by surprise, but were quickly subdued. Captured at risk of torture, he revealed the grand plan of the head elder, before committing suicide.[1]
