Jopil, also known as 'Deadly Questioner' or One Strike, One Kill, was an infamous vagabond and martial artist well known for his cruelty and brutality.[1] He was a martial master, one of the few who has attained the peak realm in Shanxi [2] outside a major sect or martial family. Whenever he took an interest in an opponent, he always asks them questions before brutally killing them.[3] He was meant to be the 19th successor of the Flame Clan [4] but left his master showing his true nature.

He was picked up by the Flame King, Jeok Cheongang as a child and was raised as his child rather than as his disciple allowing him to use his master’s affection for him to stay alive after killing everyone who ever offended him. He was given the name Jang Cheon as a child and changed it to Jopil after deserting his master.[?]
