Im Hyukjun is a humble and thoughtful person who values camaraderie. He quietly supports others without seeking recognition, noticing Jin Taekyung’s struggles and secretly recommending him to Choi Minwoo for a job.

Even though he is only an E-rank Hunter, he is a highly experienced Tanker with more that 20 years of combat experience in the field.
Background[]
He was the first hunter that Taekyung met when he started out 7 years ago. He's been working as a hunter for a long time, until the present day.[1] After the E-rank gate run with Taekyung, Choi Minwoo recruited him to join his Peace Guild, which Hyukjin accepted on the spot.[2]
Plot[]
Im Hyukjun is an old acquaintance of Jin Taekyung from seven years ago, back when Jin first started as a Hunter. They reunited at the Hunter Job Desk, where they had a brief conversation. After learning about Jin Taekyung’s situation, Im Hyukjun recommended him to Choi Minwoo, suggesting he be recruited as a porter.
Later, Im Hyukjun and his group entered an E-rank Gate, where they encountered two rare Goblin monsters that nearly killed them. Fortunately, Jin Taekyung defeated the monsters, ensuring the group escaped with only injuries.
Ares Guild & Peace Guild[]
During the conflict between Ares Guild and Peace Guild, Dark Hunters were sent to cripple Im Hyukjun, intending to make him an example and a warning.

- Taekyung didn't know his real name but just calls him Mr. Rough Guy.[1]
