Background[]
He was a mage that played a crucial role during the great catastrophe. He was also one of the few handful of mages that was gifted in systematic freezing type magic, which was how he garnered the nickname Frozen. After the great catastrophe, instead of retiring, he established the Sangdong Guild. At the time there were already prominent guilds in the Bucheon province, which made it quite difficult for any newer guilds to set up in that region. The only reason the Sangdong Guild survived was because Chunsoo completely decimated all of the rival guilds on his own. It was also around this time that the rumors of his cruel nature spread.[2]
During the war, he served as the first recruit in the 28th regiment, 2nd squadron of the 1st division. He was trained by Kim Hwajong.[3]
Plot[]
After his son reported losing millions from the bet, Im Chunsoo launched an investigation into Jin Taekyung’s background, hiring spies to gather information. Deciding to handle the matter personally, he brought several Hunters with him to confront Jin. However, he was stopped by Butler Kim, his former drill sergeant during the war. With Butler Kim’s influence, Im Chunsoo reluctantly let go of his grudge against Jin Taekyung.

Lim Chun-soo, known as "Frozen," is an A-class hunter and a formidable ice magician who gained recognition during the Great Cataclysm. He is considered one of the top five ice users in the country and used his reputation and strength to establish the powerful Sangdong Guild.
