Minotaur B- Ranked Gate[]
He was the team leader for a joint raid into the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, a B-rank gate that had previously caused heavy casualties among Hunters and Guilds. Wanting to exclude the Peace Guild, he bribed the gate operator to prevent them from entering. However, after noticing Song Song, who was his type, he changed his mind and allowed them to join.
Inside the gate, he attempted to get rid of Choi Minwoo and Jin Taekyung by proposing a bet: 500,000 dollars per Minotaur kill, with Song Song as the prize if Jin lost. To his shock, Jin Taekyung easily defeated the Minotaurs, causing him to lose a significant amount of money.
Later, he tried to backstab Jin Taekyung when they faced the boss monster, but never got the chance, as Jin defeated it in a single move. Realizing revenge was futile, he gave up.
After the incident, he reported it to his father Im Chunsoo, who took the matter seriously and sent spies to investigate Jin’s background.
