Background[]
Huang Zhong was the respected and serious leader of Dongjeongchae, a powerful faction controlling the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. Known for his careful and thoughtful nature, he was a key figure within the Jang Gang Su Ro Alliance and served as a mentor to Musong. Despite his stern exterior, Huang Zhong showed kindness and warmth, especially to Musong, offering him guidance when his true master, the King of the Sea, remained distant and cold.
As Jang Gang-il’s trusted right-hand man, Huang Zhong played a crucial role in maintaining the security of Dongjeongchae. His most loyal subordinate, Wang Pil (known as the Little Tide Ghost), was also a major figure under his command. However, when the Arch Lich’s devastating magic struck the region, it caused mass death and destruction. Despite his skill and leadership, Huang Zhong was ultimately killed, and his body was later discovered among the countless corpses that filled the river and shattered village.

Trivia[]
- Dongjeongchae is a natural fortress that can only be reached by crossing the Cheonryeong Falls. Although I don't know the details of the situation here, it would be impossible for even a moderate force to defeat the supreme master, Jang Gang-il, and Hwang Chung and his subordinates.
- Jang Gang-il-do was a water ghost who had won all the water battles against the Demonic Cult during the Jeongma War, so it would have taken at least twice as much force to wipe out Dongjeongchae.
- Dongjeongchae is the second strongest Suchae after the Jang Gangsu Ro Alliance.
